Fraunhofer-Allianz Vision
Objective
The Fraunhofer Vision Alliance is supported by an Advisory Council, whose expertise ensures a clear focus on relevant market trends and activities. The Council consists of honorary representatives from the industry, associations and scientific institutions
With the help of the Advisory Council, the results of the scientific research of Fraunhofer Vision are not only better adjusted to customer demand, but are also made suitable for all participants. The Council is designed to make more transparent the potentiality of the research work of the Fraunhofer Vision Institutes, and to foster cooperation. Jointly established development goals shall be made known to funding authorities.
Tasks
- Support and advice regarding the technical and scientific focus
- Initialization of joint research and development projects (also with public funding)
- Announcement of research and development objectives to funding authorities
- Initialization of activities in public committees (i.e. for standardization)
