The Guideline Series for Image Processing

Knowing about the possibilities and limitations of the newest technologies is an important prerequisite for the successful implementation of image processing in the production. Our Guideline Series describes the possibilities of modern image processing as simply and concretely as possible in order to facilitate access to the topic for potential users. Each year, we release a new volume about a relevant topic.



The following volumes have been released so far:

Volume 12: Heat Flux Thermography

Publshed in May 2011

The Guideline on heat flux thermography describes basic theoretical principles and relevant methods. It focuses on the areas of hardware and excitation, optical imaging and detection, from evaluation algorithms up to inter-sectoral application examples from the industrial testing practice. Interesting perspectives of spectrally resolved thermography and its combination with complementary testing methods are offered.
