It offers an initial consultation and the easiest possible access to information on all issues relating to image processing. Inquiries are then passed on to the optimal partner in terms of expertise and location.
In addition, Fraunhofer's Business Unit Vision conceives and organizes conferences and training workshops on current issues, as well as marketing and PR activities, joint trade fair presentations and technical publications.
The management of the central office supports and coordinates the exchange of information and knowledge between the members of the network and initiates projects.
